?? About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in Accounting to join a dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is critical to supporting current and future business needs and reports directly to the Controller. If you've worked with union employees, certified payroll, and have experience with Sage 100, we want to hear from you!
??? Key Responsibilities
Process certified and prevailing wage payroll (Union experience required)
Ensure compliance with payroll laws (multi-state experience is a plus)
Compile and enter payroll data: job codes, hours, deductions, etc.
Prepare, review, and issue weekly paychecks
Handle accounts payable invoices, union dues, and benefit payments
Submit certified payroll records to requesting agencies
Assist the Controller with general accounting tasks
? What We're Looking For
Experience in the construction industry - REQUIRED
Proven skills in Accounts Payable and Certified/Prevailing Wage Payroll
Strong knowledge of Sage 100 - preferred
Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in handling sensitive data
